The inflatable boat–which fits up to four people–is made of super-tough 30-gauge PVC vinyl that resists harm from abrasion, impacts, and sunlight, letting you boat with selfconfidence even near rocks or logs. The PVC is likewise unaffected by gasoline, oil, or saltwater, so you needn’t take special precautions around a motor or near a saltwater inlet. Construction-wise, the boat includes two air chambers for safety, an inner hull chamber, an inflatable floor that’s comfortable yet rigid, welded oarlocks, inflatable cushions, and an all-around grab line. The boat even sports two fishing rod holders at the rear–one on each side–so you may take pleasure in an afternoon angling with friends. Other features include a grab handle on the bow, oar holders, a gear pouch, and a U.S. Coast Guard ID. The SeaHawk 4 – which comes with oars and an inflation pump–measures 133 by 19.5 by 50 inches (W x H x D) and holds up to 814 pounds.

 Boat good, accessories OK

The hand pump included with this package worked well enough, but I definitely recommend an electric or battery-operated pump because the boat’s three separate air compartments take forever to fill with a hand pump. The oars included were solid, but the boat’s oar locks didn’t seem to work exactly right with the oars. Also, the fishing rod holder didn’t seem to hold up strong enough to keep the pole from leaning into the water. But the boat is really big and really nice and definitely worth purchasing.

 Excellent lake raft

I bought two of these rafts and am very impressed after our first summer using them. When I began researching different rafts I was concerned about quality and durability. The first time I inflated this raft I was surprised at how thick the material is and how rigid it becomes when fully inflated. I was expecting something more like a pool toy or something. On the lakes we have in each raft 1 adult and 3 kids and they hold up perfectly. (see picture above)
